FT Brake Recessed HUB

The FT (Forced Turbulence) Brake is one of the most compact silencer mounts obtainable. The design reduces silencer length added to barrel by 0.4 inches without sacrificing sound performance. This makes it close to 0.5 inches shorter than direct thread mounts. The progressive and angled ports diffuse peak pressure and generate turbulence in order to slow the expanding gases in your silencer. In testing sound performance did not degrade and often produced an improved signature when compared to traditional 2-piece mounts. As a muzzle brake it softens recoil and due to its unique port design, it will effectively aid in the longevity of your silencer. Made from 17-4 Stainless Steel, gas nitride and H1025 heat treated, this mount will withstand abusive firing schedules. For designated silencer hosts this is the perfect "set it and forget it" setup.
